GOOD NEWS!!!! Spencer qualified for the JO-NIT competition in Seattle!!!! She tied for 10th yesterday. Since it is the first year of this meet the lady was unsure yesterday if she was going to be able to go or not. Today I talked to a big wig and she said, “of course she goes!!!!!!” So off to Seattle we go!!! Congrats Spencer!!!

Emily was in the morning session today. She started on vault. She had two nice vaults. Her second one was HUGE, but she took a few steps at the end. We were happy with vault!

Bars was good. She made a few small mistakes, but placed 3rd – so obviously she rocks!

Beam – WOW! She brought tears to my eyes the routine was so good! It was beautiful and I am so proud!!! She scored a 9.375 and I think placed 7th.

Floor – Emily’s first pass was a little off, but she saved it. The rest of her routine was very nice. Her gym series was big. J

Emily’s competition was TOUGH!!!! She did great and placed 5th all around! YIPPEEE!!!!! That means we are going to the Western National Championships in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Way to go Emily. You are awesome!

Schyler’s session was this afternoon. She also started on vault. She competed the best vaults of the season and scored a 9.0. I think that is the highest she scored all season. She placed 6th on vault (I think). That’s pretty snaz. We are so happy for her

Bars – She had a couple small mistakes, but it was an OK routine.

Beam – Well, if she would have stayed on she would have won!!!! Her flight was a little off and she fell. The rest of her routine rocked. She scored a 8.925. Schyler is so beautiful on beam.

Floor – Schyler’s floor routine was awesome! She stuck two of her passes perfect without even a lunge and placed 5th in the region. Way to go.

Schyler placed 9th all around missing Westerns by about .70. We are very proud of how she did today. She was an Athlete Warrior staying very tough to the end.

It’s been a long stressful weekend, but I am very proud of our level 9’s and 10’s. There is a lot of stress and pressure at this meet. Each of our girls handled it like champs! They are Athlete Warriors!
