***Dollars for Dogs, Coins for Cats*** Achievers Girls Team and Friends of Achievers chose a local charity group to give to each holiday season. With generous donations from our members and others, our goal is to make a positive difference in our community. This year we need your help to give our furry friends at the Denton Animal Shelter....... Happy "Howl"idays and a "Purr"fect New Year!

Remember, the true spirit of the season is to help those less fortunate than ourselves. Please make donations at the Achievers front desk. There are two ways to give.


We're collecting money in our large popcorn tin to help build the beautiful new, state-of-the-art Animal Care and Adoption Center. This 22,240 square foot facility will be located on six acres of land purchased by the city of Denton in January 2009. Food, Toys, and the Comforts of Home

Help us make the animals more comfortable during their stay at the shelter.
Please fill our plastic container with the following items:
New or used towels or small blankets (no electric blankets, please)
Newspaper
Tennis balls, Kong toys, and other sturdy, washable dog toys
Wand-type interactive cat toys
Washable, plastic, ball-type cat toys
Natural dog and cat treats
Quality canned cat and dog food
Dry dog or cat food


***OPTIONAL TEAM CRITIQUE ON FRIDAY*** Our bars and vault critique is on Friday. It will last until about 8:00. To help us get finished sooner we will start as early as we can. The girls that can get to practice by 4:00 will start then. The girls who can't get there until 4:15 will start then. We are going to do our best to be finished by 8:00pm. The girls need to wear their competition leo on Friday.

The level 7-10’s will train until 7:30 on Thursday, December 10, so the girls can get to bed earlier and be rested for Friday.
