We can hardly believe the summer workouts are almost over! Time flies when your having fun.

***MEET FEES DUE***
I am no longer going to send reminders the day meet fees are due. I'm too afraid I will forget to do it once and it will be my fault a cutie didn't get in a meet. Please put the dates on your calender. Friendly Reminder ~ if you don't pay by the due date your daughter will not be entered in the meet. Late payments are not accepted.

I will have the rest of the compulsory season meet fee due dates finished soon. I am waiting on an answer from our state chairman.


***OPTIONAL MEET FEES***
Optional meet fees will start being due November 1. I'm just giving you a heads up. Our schedule is almost complete. We are narrowing down our travel meet and I need to find one more competition and we are set. GO 2010!

In 2008 the level 8 team paid $725 in meet entry fees. $460 of that was due in December!!! My oh my. Right when Santa is on his way! Last year the meet fee totals for our optional team were – Level 7-$590, Level 8-$710, Level 9/10-$800. You can start paying for your meet fees now!!! You can pay as much as you want - $25, $50, $100. Your options: if you are auto draft just let the front office know if you'd like them to add a certain amount to your tuition each month, you can just add it to your monthly tuition, or just send in a check or money. It's easy, whatever you would like! The money will stay in your escrow account and can be used when you need it for meet fees. We hope this helps with the meet entry HIT in December.

***OPTIONAL TEAM BINDER***
The optional team needs a binder for their Athlete Warrior information by September 14. It needs to be at least an inch and a half thick, so all the papers fit by the end of May. I will talk to the girls about this, but I would like them to decorate the front of it with things that inspire them. When they see the front of their binder I want them to be motivated to work hard.

**GROUP NAMES**
We have decided to name our groups by precious fine jewels instead of by level. We want to stay away from grouping by the level they compete, and group by the athletes needs and abilites. We want you and your child to know that the groupings do not reflect the level she will compete. We are trying to develop a higher level of gymnastics in the gym, and compete at a level for success. This is a sport with many discouraging situations and we feel by grouping in this manner we will have a better success rate and less stress will be placed on what level an athlete is, but on her progress.
Optional Team: Please note that the athletes with a star next to their name will be training the longer hours including the designated Saturdays.
