Howdy from Colorado, or shall I say brrrrrrr from Colorado!!! The snow is amazing as you can see in the pictures. Last time we traveled Denver to for regionals was when Phyllis and Spencer were level 8’s we got snowed in for 3 extra days. It was great!!!!

Today was our training day. We arrived to the competition site with all smiles and relaxed gymnasts (all wearing snow boots). Due to the weather the host gym was still setting up equipment when we got there. The one word that comes to mind when I think about the open workout is CROWDED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We waited over 20 minutes to take one turn on vault or bars, floor was fast, then beam….. my goodness…. we waited over an hour for one turn. The good thing is we all stayed calm and just tried to deal with the situation with a smile. Workout went good. The girls liked the equipment and had great happy positive attitudes. They just left for pasta dinner ~ great fuel for the competition. Paige and Spencer start at 8:00am tomorrow. Think SOLID CLEAN thoughts!
